Four Years Strong: eNeoteric's Journey to 20+ Cities
Solutions
Four years ago, eNeoteric Consultancy Services was a small team with a big vision, working out of a single office in Bangalore. Today, as we mark our fourth anniversary on January 30, 2025, we serve clients in more than 20 cities across India, have delivered over 400 projects, and offer a comprehensive suite of IT infrastructure, security, cloud, and software services. This anniversary feels different -- not because the milestones are bigger, but because the company has reached a level of maturity and capability that makes the next phase of growth feel both natural and exciting.
Year four was about consolidation and acceleration. We took the multi-city, multi-service foundation we had built and turned it into a well-oiled operation capable of handling large-scale, multi-location engagements with the consistency and reliability that enterprise clients demand.
20+ cities and growing. Our geographic expansion in year four was significant. Beyond our established offices in Bangalore, Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, and Lucknow, we extended our delivery capabilities to more than 15 additional cities through a combination of regional team members and a hub-and-spoke model. Hyderabad, Pune, Ahmedabad, Kolkata, Jaipur, Chandigarh, Kochi, Coimbatore, Indore, Nagpur, Vizag, Noida, Gurgaon, Bhopal, and Thiruvananthapuram all saw eNeoteric teams on the ground delivering projects during year four.
This expansion was driven by client demand. Several of our enterprise clients operate across dozens of Indian cities, and they needed a partner who could deliver consistent quality everywhere -- not just in the metros. Our hub-and-spoke model, with experienced leads in each hub city coordinating teams across the region, allowed us to maintain our quality standards while scaling rapidly. A WiFi survey delivered in Coimbatore meets the same Ekahau-certified methodology and documentation standards as one delivered in Bangalore.
400+ projects: scale with substance. Crossing the 400-project milestone was meaningful not just as a number, but because of what it represented in terms of complexity and trust. Our project portfolio in year four included some of the most challenging engagements we have ever undertaken: a nationwide wireless refresh programme for a banking group spanning 80 branches, an enterprise-wide Zero Trust network architecture design for a major manufacturing conglomerate, and a comprehensive VAPT programme for a healthcare network operating across six states.
These were not isolated engagements -- they were multi-month programmes requiring dedicated project managers, cross-functional technical teams, and tight coordination with client IT and facilities departments. Delivering them successfully reinforced our capability to operate as a strategic IT partner, not just a project-based vendor.
Building the partner ecosystem. One of the defining achievements of year four was the strengthening of our technology partner ecosystem. Our Ekahau partnership continued to deepen, with our team achieving advanced certifications and becoming one of the most active Ekahau partners in India. But we also formalised partnerships with several other major technology vendors.
Our Fortinet partnership expanded our security practice significantly. We now deploy and manage FortiGate firewalls, FortiSwitch, FortiAP, and the broader Fortinet Security Fabric for enterprise clients. The Cisco partnership strengthened our switching, routing, and collaboration capabilities, particularly for large campus deployments. We also established relationships with Microsoft for cloud and productivity solutions, and with several other vendors across the networking and security landscape.
These partnerships are not just logos on a slide deck. Each one represents deep technical enablement -- our engineers are trained and certified on these platforms, and we maintain lab environments where we can test configurations, validate designs, and troubleshoot issues before deploying in client environments.
WiFi 7: early deployments. Year four saw eNeoteric at the forefront of WiFi 7 adoption in India. While the broader market was still evaluating WiFi 7, we had already completed early deployment assessments and proof-of-concept installations for select enterprise clients. Our team invested heavily in understanding the technical capabilities of WiFi 7 -- including Multi-Link Operation (MLO), 320 MHz channels, 4096-QAM, and enhanced multi-user capabilities -- and translating those capabilities into practical enterprise deployment guidance.
We published technical guidance on WiFi 7 deployment timelines in India, helping enterprise IT teams understand when and how to plan their transition. Our early WiFi 7 work positioned us as one of the go-to consultancies in India for organisations planning their next-generation wireless infrastructure. The combination of our Ekahau-certified survey methodology and our deep understanding of WiFi 7 technology gave clients confidence that their investment would be planned and executed properly.
Managed services growth. Our managed services practice saw substantial growth in year four. More clients moved from project-based engagements to ongoing managed service contracts, recognising the value of having a dedicated partner responsible for the health and performance of their IT infrastructure. Our managed services portfolio expanded to include managed WiFi, managed network operations, managed security (including firewall management and threat monitoring), and IT helpdesk services.
The growth in managed services was strategically important. It provided recurring revenue stability, deepened our relationships with clients, and gave us real-time visibility into how our designs and deployments performed over time. That feedback loop made us better at everything we did -- a design flaw that shows up six months after deployment informs how we approach the next design.
Training programme expansion. Our ECSE (eNeoteric Certified Solutions Engineer) training programme continued to evolve. In year four, we expanded it from an internal programme to a client-facing offering. Several enterprise clients enrolled their IT teams in ECSE modules covering wireless fundamentals, network security best practices, and cloud architecture. The programme also incorporated hands-on lab components using our Ekahau and Fortinet lab environments.
We also deepened our involvement in the broader training ecosystem, offering specialised workshops on WiFi 6E and WiFi 7 planning, Ekahau tool proficiency, and VAPT methodology. Training became not just a revenue line, but a relationship builder -- clients who trained with us often became long-term engagement partners.
Cybersecurity: dedicated SOC capabilities. The most significant addition to our security practice in year four was the development of dedicated SOC (Security Operations Centre) capabilities. Recognising that many mid-market and enterprise clients lacked the resources to build their own 24/7 security monitoring function, we began offering SOC-as-a-Service. This included SIEM deployment and management, threat detection and response, vulnerability management, and incident response coordination.
The SOC capability complemented our existing VAPT services perfectly. We could now offer clients a complete security lifecycle -- from assessment and testing to ongoing monitoring and incident response. For industries like BFSI and healthcare, where regulatory requirements mandate continuous security monitoring, this was a game-changer.
Looking ahead to year five. As we enter our fifth year -- a milestone that carries real weight for any company -- the focus is on consolidating our position as a leading enterprise IT consultancy in India while preparing for international expansion. We are investing in AI-powered operations tooling, expanding our software development capabilities, and preparing for the widespread adoption of WiFi 7 that we expect to accelerate through 2026.
Four years in, eNeoteric is no longer a startup. We are a proven, multi-city, multi-service enterprise IT partner with a track record that speaks for itself. But we have not lost the hunger, the attention to detail, or the client-first mentality that got us here. That combination -- scale with substance -- is what will define year five and beyond.
