Two Years of eNeoteric: Growth, Partnerships, and New Services
Solutions
Two years ago, on January 30, 2021, eNeoteric Consultancy Services started with a focused mission: deliver honest, high-quality IT infrastructure services to enterprises across India. As we celebrate our second anniversary, the company that began as a WiFi site survey specialist in Bangalore has grown into something considerably broader -- and we are just getting started.
Year two was defined by expansion. We expanded our services, our team, our geographic footprint, and our partner ecosystem. The pace was demanding, but every step was deliberate. We did not chase growth for its own sake; we grew because our clients needed more from us, and we were ready to deliver.
Becoming an Ekahau authorized partner. One of the milestones we are most proud of is formalising our partnership with Ekahau. After a year of investment in tools, training, and certifications, eNeoteric became an authorized Ekahau partner in India. This was not simply a badge -- it represented a deep commitment to wireless excellence. Our engineers completed advanced certification programmes, and we invested in the latest survey hardware including Ekahau Sidekick 2 units for every field team.
The Ekahau partnership elevated the quality of our wireless deliverables. Clients began to see the difference in our heatmaps, our predictive designs, and the precision of our AP placement recommendations. It also opened doors to larger, more complex projects -- multi-building campuses, high-density environments, and organisations with strict compliance requirements that demanded the rigour that Ekahau-certified methodology provides.
Expanding beyond WiFi. During our first year, clients repeatedly told us the same thing: we trust your team, can you help with more than just wireless? In year two, we answered that call. We expanded our service portfolio to include full IT infrastructure consulting, encompassing structured cabling assessments, network design reviews, and LAN/WAN architecture planning.
The expansion was natural. Good wireless design does not exist in isolation -- it depends on the wired infrastructure, the switching fabric, the security posture, and the overall network architecture. By broadening our scope, we could offer clients a more complete picture and more cohesive solutions. A WiFi site survey that also evaluates cabling readiness, switch port capacity, and PoE budgets delivers far more value than one that looks at the wireless layer alone.
Adding cybersecurity: VAPT services. The other major addition to our portfolio was cybersecurity, specifically Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT). We built a dedicated security practice staffed by certified ethical hackers and security analysts. The decision to add VAPT was driven by what we saw in the field: too many enterprises had invested heavily in network infrastructure but had significant security blind spots.
Our VAPT engagements covered web application testing, network penetration testing, API security assessments, and wireless security audits. The wireless security piece was a natural fit -- our deep understanding of enterprise wireless made us uniquely qualified to test WiFi security postures, identify rogue access points, and assess WPA3 deployment readiness. Clients appreciated having a single partner who could both design their wireless network and then rigorously test its security.
Opening the Mumbai office. In the second half of 2022, we opened our second office in Mumbai -- at Hiranandani Business Park in Powai. Mumbai had been a natural target since our early days. The city's concentration of BFSI enterprises, large corporate campuses, and data centre activity made it an essential market for us. Having a physical presence in Mumbai meant faster response times, local relationship building, and the ability to serve clients in the western region without the logistical overhead of flying teams from Bangalore for every engagement.
The Mumbai office started lean -- a small team of engineers and a project manager -- but it quickly proved its value. Within months, we were delivering WiFi surveys, network assessments, and VAPT engagements across Mumbai, Pune, and Ahmedabad. The western region became our fastest-growing market in the second half of the year.
50+ clients across 10 cities. By the end of our second year, eNeoteric had served more than 50 enterprise clients across 10 cities in India. From the tech corridors of Bangalore and Hyderabad to the financial districts of Mumbai and Delhi, our teams were on the ground delivering assessments, designs, and security testing. The client base had diversified significantly -- we now served companies in IT services, manufacturing, BFSI, healthcare, co-working, and education.
What remained consistent was our approach. Regardless of the project size or the client's industry, we brought the same level of thoroughness, transparency, and technical depth. Every deliverable was reviewed internally before handover. Every client received a post-project debrief with actionable recommendations. This discipline earned us a client retention rate that exceeded 85 percent -- a number that validated our belief that quality work generates loyalty.
Team growth and culture. Our team roughly tripled in size during year two. Hiring was careful and intentional. We prioritised technical aptitude, a willingness to learn, and alignment with our values of honesty and client-first thinking. Every new engineer went through a structured onboarding programme that included hands-on lab work, shadowed client engagements, and internal certifications before being assigned to lead projects independently.
We also invested in the team's professional development. Multiple team members earned industry certifications -- CWNA, CWDP, CEH, and vendor-specific credentials from Cisco, Aruba, and Fortinet. These certifications were not resume fillers; they were directly tied to the quality of work we delivered to clients. A CWDP-certified engineer produces better wireless designs. A CEH-certified tester finds more vulnerabilities. The investment paid for itself many times over.
Looking ahead to year three. As we enter our third year, the roadmap is ambitious. We plan to expand into cloud consulting and data centre solutions, areas where we see strong demand from our existing client base. We are preparing to open offices in Delhi and Chennai to serve the northern and southern markets more effectively. And we are laying the groundwork for a software and AI practice that will complement our infrastructure expertise.
Our goal remains the same as it was on day one: be the IT infrastructure partner that enterprises trust to get things right. The scope has expanded, the team has grown, and the geography has widened -- but the core commitment to technical excellence and honest service delivery has not changed.
To every client who trusted us with their projects, every partner who collaborated with us, and every team member who worked late to meet a deadline: thank you for making year two remarkable. The best is still ahead.
