Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery

When your organisation faces a crisis — a ransomware attack, a natural disaster, a data centre outage — your security services provider cannot be the point of failure. eNeoteric's Business Continuity Plan (BCP) and Disaster Recovery Plan (DRP) ensure our services remain available and our team remains reachable, even during major disruption events.

Business continuity measures

Geographic redundancy

eNeoteric operates across five offices in India (Bengaluru, Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, Lucknow) plus Singapore. Critical functions — SOC monitoring, incident response, customer support — can be operated from any of these locations. No single office represents a single point of failure for service delivery.

Infrastructure resilience

eNeoteric's cloud infrastructure is deployed across multiple availability zones on AWS and Azure. SIEM and SOC platforms are configured in active-active or active-standby configurations with automatic failover. DNS and CDN configurations enable rapid traffic failover within minutes.

Data backup and recovery

All critical business data and customer engagement records are backed up daily to geographically separate storage. Backups are encrypted, access-controlled, and tested quarterly for recoverability. Backup retention is 90 days for operational data and 7 years for compliance records.

Staff continuity

Critical roles (SOC analyst, incident responder, account management) have minimum two-person coverage across different locations. Cross-training ensures no single person is the sole holder of critical knowledge. An on-call roster ensures 24×7 human coverage for SOCaaS customers.

BCP testing

Our BCP is tested annually through tabletop exercises and, for critical services, live failover tests. Test results are reviewed by senior management and drive improvements to the plan. The last full BCP test was conducted in Q1 2026.

Frequently asked questions

What happens to my SOC monitoring if eNeoteric suffers a major outage?
Our SOC is designed for geographic redundancy — if our primary operations centre faces an outage, monitoring and alerting automatically continues from a secondary location. Customer-facing SLAs for detection and response remain in effect. You will be notified proactively if any service degradation occurs.
How do you test your disaster recovery procedures?
We conduct annual tabletop exercises covering scenarios including ransomware against our own infrastructure, key-person unavailability, data centre outages, and supply-chain compromise of critical tools. For SOCaaS customers, we conduct live failover tests with customer notification during pre-agreed maintenance windows.
Can I include eNeoteric's BCP metrics in my own vendor risk assessment?
Yes. We provide BCP documentation including RTO/RPO commitments, geographic redundancy architecture, and test results to customers as part of vendor due diligence. Contact [email protected] with subject 'BCP Documentation Request'.
What is eNeoteric's process for communicating a service disruption to customers?
In the event of a service disruption, we notify affected customers by phone (primary) and email within 30 minutes of impact determination. We provide hourly status updates during active disruptions and a post-incident report within 5 business days of service restoration.
