Why an IT site survey or network site survey
An IT site survey or network site survey reduces risk and rework by documenting existing infrastructure, cabling capacity, power and space before design or deployment. Types of site survey in networking include physical site survey, network cabling site survey and network infrastructure assessment. You get a single source of truth for MDF/IDF locations, fiber plant, rack space and environmental factors—supporting accurate scoping, budgeting and implementation.
Why Choose Us
- Structured scope — Aligned with industry practice: location documentation, fiber plant, pathway, power and rack assessment.
- Pan India — major metros and cities.
- Enterprise and government — Offices, campus, data centre, smart city, hospital.
- Clear deliverables — Documentation, photos, diagrams and recommendations; results within 5 business days of completion.
Deliverables: site survey report and template
Survey results are delivered within 5 business days of completion. Deliverables include a site survey report for networking and design: location documentation (DMARC, MDF, IDF, equipment), high-definition photos, fiber plant and cabling information, cable pathway assessment, environmental and power summary, rack elevation and device inventory (device type, OEM, serial numbers, rack unit position, RUs used, available ports), and any general concerns or installation requirements. Our site survey report template and IT site assessment checklist ensure consistent, actionable documentation so your team can proceed with design or rollout with confidence.
FAQ
- What is an IT site survey or network site survey?
- A network site survey documents DMARC, MDF, IDF, cabling, power and rack space. It provides a structured baseline for network design, transformation or refresh and is delivered as a formal site survey report.
- Is a network survey required before network transformation?
- Yes. A network site survey is essential before any significant network transformation. It documents existing infrastructure, identifies cabling and power constraints, and prevents costly rework by providing accurate inputs for design and budgeting.
- What does the site survey checklist and template cover?
- Our checklist and template cover all standard site survey areas: DMARC/MDF/IDF location, fiber plant, cable pathway assessment, power and environmental conditions, rack space and device inventory. This ensures consistent, actionable documentation.
- What is included in the site survey report?
- The report includes location documentation (DMARC, MDF, IDF, equipment), high-definition site photos, fiber plant information, cable pathway assessment, environmental and power summary, and a device inventory with OEM, serial numbers, rack unit positions and available ports.
- When are the survey results delivered?
- Survey results and the completed site survey report are delivered within 5 business days of survey completion.
- Can eNeoteric cover multiple sites?
- Yes. eNeoteric provides network site survey services across all major metros and cities in India, including Bengaluru, Mumbai, Delhi, Pune, Hyderabad, Chennai, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Noida, Gurgaon, Kochi and Chandigarh.
