Frequently asked questions
- What happens after I submit this form?
- We review what you have supplied and come back within one business day — usually with a short list of clarifying questions, since upgrade scoping depends on details that are hard to capture in a form. From there we produce a scoped proposal covering the upgrade path, the expected maintenance window duration and the commercials.
- Is the assessment chargeable?
- An initial scoping review based on the information you supply is provided at no cost. A full health check across an estate — where we collect configurations and produce a written report with a prioritised action plan — is a chargeable engagement, and we would tell you which you need before any work starts.
- I do not know my current firmware version. Can I still ask?
- Yes. Establishing the current state is part of what an assessment does. Give us what you know — vendor and rough model is usually enough to start — and we will guide your team through the commands needed to gather the rest.
- Should I attach my device configuration?
- Not to this form. Device configurations contain credential hashes, pre-shared keys and complete topology detail, and a web form is not the right channel for them. Submit the form without them, and we will arrange a secure transfer method if the assessment needs them.
- Do you handle single devices or only large estates?
- Both. A single firewall upgrade is a perfectly normal engagement and we scope it as readily as a multi-site programme. There is no minimum estate size.
