Network & Security Infrastructure AMC Services
An AMC is a commitment about what happens on your worst day. ENCSE provides annual maintenance contracts for multi-vendor network and security infrastructure with defined response times, spares provision and OEM coordination.

- Preventive maintenance — scheduled health checks covering hardware condition, environmental status, alarm review, capacity trending and configuration backup verification.
- Break-fix support — response to device failures within agreed timeframes, including diagnosis, replacement coordination and configuration restoration onto the replacement unit.
- Spares management — access to spares for covered platforms, with critical-spares options where the recovery time matters more than the holding cost.
- OEM case coordination — we raise and manage vendor support cases on your behalf, including escalation, so your team is not chasing a case reference through a support portal during an incident.
- RMA handling — return authorisation, logistics and replacement installation managed end to end.
- Remote and on-site response — remote-first diagnosis with on-site attendance where the fault requires physical intervention.
- Configuration recovery — restoration onto replacement hardware from maintained backups, which is what turns a spare device into a restored service.
Multi-vendor AMC in a mixed estate
Most enterprise estates contain several vendors, acquired at different times under different contracts, each with its own renewal date, portal, escalation path and support tier. The administrative overhead of that fragmentation is real, and it is felt most acutely during an incident — when establishing which contract covers the failed device is the first task rather than fixing it.
A single multi-vendor AMC consolidates that. One agreement, one number, one party accountable for the outcome regardless of whose logo is on the failed device. Behind the scenes we manage the OEM relationships and entitlements; from your side it is one relationship.
This also removes a recurring failure mode: devices that fall between contracts. In fragmented estates it is common to find equipment covered by nobody — acquired outside the normal process, or left behind when a contract was renegotiated. Consolidation surfaces those gaps during onboarding rather than during an outage.
AMC alongside lifecycle management
An AMC addresses hardware failure. Lifecycle management addresses software currency and security posture. Both are necessary and neither substitutes for the other — a device under a comprehensive AMC can still be running software with a published critical vulnerability, and a fully patched device can still have a power supply fail.
Customers frequently take both under a single agreement, which also removes the ambiguity about who is responsible when a hardware fault and a software issue are hard to distinguish. Where you prefer to keep them separate, or already have an AMC in place, our managed lifecycle service can be taken on its own.
Frequently asked questions
- What response times do you offer?
- Response commitments are agreed per contract based on device criticality and site location. Faster commitments are available for critical infrastructure, and tiering by device rather than applying a single level across the estate is usually the more economical structure — a core switch and a meeting-room access switch rarely warrant the same commitment.
- Do you cover devices past end-of-support?
- In many cases yes, though with an important caveat: no vendor RMA or software fix exists for those devices, so coverage depends on our own spares availability and expertise. This is workable as a bridging arrangement while a refresh is planned, but it is not a substitute for replacing the equipment, and we will be explicit about that distinction rather than letting an AMC create false comfort.
- Is OEM support still required if I have an ENCSE AMC?
- For most platforms, yes, and we would recommend it. OEM entitlement is what permits software downloads, gives access to vendor engineering for complex faults, and enables hardware RMA. Our AMC adds response, coordination, spares and hands-on capability on top of that entitlement rather than replacing it. Where OEM support has lapsed we will tell you what capability that removes.
- Can an AMC cover multiple sites?
- Yes. Multi-site AMCs across India are standard for us, with response commitments varying by location — metro sites with local presence can carry faster commitments than remote locations, and pricing reflects that rather than averaging across the estate.
- What does an AMC cost?
- Pricing depends on device count, platform mix, criticality tiering, site locations and response commitments. Provide an equipment list through our assessment form or contact us directly and we will return a scoped proposal rather than an indicative range that turns out not to apply.
